About Us

We are dedicated to bring you only the highest quality, family friendly, American Bulldogs available on the market

One day while driving home from school I passed a sign that read "American Bulldog Puppies for sale."
My wife and I had been looking for a family pet for sometime, so when I got home I asked her if she would like to go take a look?

I use to, and still do love English Bulldogs. While living in Costa Rica I purchased one, and figured she could be my traveling partner... Boy was I wrong! English Bulldogs are only meant for climate controlled atmospheres and leather coaches.

A year later, and over $4,000 in vet bills I had to make a decision... Keep paying thousands of dollars for a dog I couldn't even take out of my apartment or feed my month old son? We'll you guessed it. The dog had to go.

After that experience, and the fact that my wife does not like English Bulldogs at all, approaching her with this idea of adopting any animal with the title "Bull" in it was like telling her I wanted to trade our son in for a sports car...

Upon arriving at the breeders home, it didn't take long before my wife was huddled up with an adorable little female (Lena)... The rest is history.

Needless to say, we discovered a whole new world with American Bulldogs. They are athletic, strong, healthy, happy, and just a ton of fun to work with.

Our home sits on just under an acre, which is about a minimum size yard you should have for and animal of this nature, and we are currently looking to buy a new home with more property...Why, might you ask? Because we love our dogs! We currently have (3) males (Diesel, General, and Newman), and (2) Females (Lena, and Sierra).

As part of our adoption policy, if anything should happen that would prohibit a healthy living environment for your dog, we offer a no questions ask return (Dog only).

If your dog becomes unmanageable we can assist you in training as well.

American Bulldogs can be an asset to your family if you know how to manage them. An inexperienced dog handler is not typically suggested with this breed of dog. With the right dedication, and minimal yet consistent time, just about anyone can obtain the results they desire with these highly intelligent dogs.

American Bulldogs

The very muscular, sturdy and powerful, yet compact frame of the American Bulldog remains higher on the leg, more agile and swifter than its English counterpart.

Males are characteristically stockier and heavier boned than in the more refined females. Their heads are larger and have very strong jaws.

Agile and light on their feet, some individuals have reported to leap six or more feet into the air.. The chest is wide and moderately deep, giving the sense of athletic ability and power. The head is square, large and broad with muscular cheeks relatively in proportion to the size and overall structure of the dog. There is a defined furrow between the rounded eyes, with a distinct, sharply defined , deep stop. The strong muzzle is broad and square. The preferred bite is reverse scissors, but a moderate underbite, scissors or even bite is acceptable. A variety of ear types are acceptable including cropped, rose, half-pricked, and forward flap. Uncropped ears are preferred in the American Bulldog Breeders Association Standard. Eyes can come in any color. Black eye rims are preferred on white dogs. Pink eye rims are considered a fault according to the written standard. The nose is black red, brown or grizzle. Black is the preferred color according to the standard. In black-nosed dogs, the preferred lip color is black, though some pink is permitted. The lips should be full but not too loose. The front legs are heavy-boned, strong and straight. The hindquarters should be very broad and thick with well-defined muscles. The tail is low-set, begins thick at the base, and tapers to a point. The coat is smooth and short, and comes in all shades of brindle including red brindle, varying degrees of white, red, brown, tan, fawn, and piebald.

Temperament

The American Bulldog is loyal, reliable, brave and determined. Not a hostile dog. Alert and self-confident, this breed genuinely loves children. It is known for its acts of heroism towards its master. They have strong protective instincts, and need a firm, confident, consistent, pack leader. Well-socialize and obedience train them at an early age, to prevent them from becoming reserved with strangers. Without that strong minded pack leader who can tell the dog what is expected of them, they may be aggressive with other dogs. They need to be around people and know their place in their pack to be truly happy. This breed tends to drool and slobber. Without enough daily mental and physical exercise they will become high strung and may become hard to handle.
